A Lecture on the “Crisis in Psychopharmacology”
On May 8th, 2018, I gave a lecture on “The Crisis of Psychopharmacology” at the scientific colloquium of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the University of Rostock, Germany. My talk was held in German.
The lecture should stimulate thinking about the effects of psychotropic drugs and their mechanisms of action. I am convinced that the “crisis of psychopharmacology” will ultimately evolve not only psychopharmacotherapy, but the whole field of psychiatry.
